man i think conway delivers so many 5 star dishes everyone jumps to trash a 4 star plate. shits still above what most people are putting out these days. take mutty--stove obviously killed that shit, but who else could have been on there to set him up? aside from his verse, thats one of the slickest hooks conways done himself. no memorable lines? you know if it's my bitch cuz her wrist all bust up. god level. plus this is off drumwork, which always seems to lean a bit more towards mainsteam. its that cut snow vs the cooked griselda rock.

These Griselda guys hussle like no-one else they bring out so much music but this is not always a good thing .. there is no room for growth or development in an artist if they consistently drop 3 projects a year. Don’t get me wrong some people can do it and Conway has been the exception until this point .. but maybe it’s time to re-calibrate .. take a year off and come back swinging 🤷🏻‍♂️

Agree, I wasn’t feeling this project as a whole. The fact that I have to call 2 of the songs on it trash was just disappointing. Like you guys said, Conway gets held to a higher standard and this one missed the mark. I saved 5 I think from it so not bad.

ay glad yall got to this! felt the overall album vibe, feel like both give & give and vertino were standouts that woulda been dope to hear first time on the album, but still a dope project. the textures on all the conductor beats were crazy and ab went to a different planet on surf & turf lmao

I agree with almost everything y’all said except Milano nights is absolute fire, I can’t believe y’all weren’t rocking with that one😭. But yeah ab-soul is on the Lupe/King Los/Black Thought tier imo at least when it comes to straight pen. Herbert is damn near a classic to me

Stove God and Ab Soul absolutely killed their verses. If Stove God is rapping like this, I need him to drop an album. I don't know anyone else who signed to a label and then only did features for 5 years. Both of them reminded me of the energy their verses brought on Statik Selektah's album

I wasn't feeling the album too much at first, but it's grown on me. I think the production is better than Won't He Do It. The lyricism is a little worse than it's been in a while from Conway, but on some of the songs he still really brought it. I don't mind the more trappy songs when he does it well, and I feel like Conway has tried them and done them better before. I didn't mind the interlude, but Dasani and Raw were not it to me. Both Benny and Conway have way better albums than Westside Gunn's last album though, so I'll at least take that
