Keep Heaven Dancing is the best one on there the groove of that song is ridiculous. It’s such a unique song in his catalog as well which is why I’m shocked he kept it in the vault for ten years. Maybe it felt too risky to him like yall were saying but I loved it.

Tbh, to me it feels like the people that Cole wanted to hear this, are hearing it. Same with the mixtapes that got to streaming. I got the vibe Cole did that mainly for himself as to have his whole catalogue in one place as he is approaching the fall off. Almost as to say, there you have, that has been my career, farewell.. To me everything feels very much targeted to the people that have been there and he's not really trying to make noise to get attention from new listeners? Same with this drop, it feels like he's saying, if you loved FHD you'll find it, if not, then it's probably not for you. IYKYK but if not, that's fine too, but either way, here it is; the completed work.

Oh man neither of you have experienced the E 1999 Eternal-era Bone stuff? That album truly deserves a full album react. I think you would both fuck with it hard. Yeah that one with the Bone Thugs ft. was the only hard skip of these 8 tracks. That was especially brutal given how good the first 5 were. Not a verse or hook worth keeping on that one and the beat just had its shoes tied together….oof. Top for me was def. Keep Heaven Dancing…super unique track. Some were more polished but I’m not sure any of them were unique enough from his other material to be albumworthy besides that one.

He said at the time of this album he was at a cross roads in his life of living the rapper life and being who he is today and the family man and he had to choose a road to travel. And also he said like 4 months after the album he proposed which would kinda explain the obviously record.
