Moni
finally watched your reaction and if biggest complaint was more songs than that’s still a win. He could have performed the whole game and would have still received more viewers than the actual game lol

I love your guys content Real question How the hell is Drake the underdog?
Kayla Sanchez
To think we’re so far in the bad timeline that we didn’t get to see the pyrotechnics that should have gone along with the performance 😔
Mackenzie Kraemer
I could watch you guys react to Euphoria once a week. So good.
Angelique Gibbs
Yes!! And it sounds better on YouTube. The distorted sounds was from the televised coverage.
Kostia
Devilish. So potent. Drake, Drake, Drake…
Daniel Harrison
Yeah, I missed that the first two times but laughed my ass off when I finally noticed it.
Chris
This so real
Bobo
The “lowercase” a chain tho…

Loveee the Jesus walks reference (probably intentional knowsling Dot) bc it was on the tip of my tongue but I couldn't grasp it lbs
EmpressMe
Theory is there was an active attempt to sabotage him bc they turned his mic WAYYYY lower during the live performance as well as the crowd but clearly it wasn't low in the actual performance bc we hear him CRYSTAL CLEAR on YT!!
EmpressMe
That's literally my only critique...
Sam
This was a 10/10 performance boys. Maybe it went over your heads, calling it good and not crazyy AF. Is insane to me.
Jayvo
Also Trump likes um young too. He don’t give a fuck
Jayvo
This halftime show was a piece of black American art. It was never going to be loved by all. If it was, I’d be disappointed in Kendrick.
Dustin Francis
Loved it. I personally loved the humble track because of the dancers. I was bobbing my head in unison when it came on. DNA needed to be N95
Jayvo
As a nigga from KC. I’m ok with not talking about the game.
Angelique Gibbs
I figured GNX would be a lot of the song list. That's the one he fully owns his masters. I'd do those predominantly too. The other thing is he mentioned in his pregame interview now he lives in the present. If he would have done a lot of his hits everyone would have been complaining that he just did a repeat of the Popout. Damn if you do damned if you don't.
Quartz Castle
Saw somewhere that the very beginning with the PlayStation controller at the beginning that the buttons pressed was the full health and armor cheat in GTA. I had been trying to dive into my memory banks for what it was and glad I have an answer. Thought I would share in case anyone else was wondering!
Renatoxico
welll put but, he panned directly into the camera and said his name... played 3 diss tracks to that man lol
FigLeaf Bicarbonate
It gets better every time you watch it

For me, the Uncle Sam was a necessity for this performance that dictates the "American Game" with its rules and comments what the "people" aka the dumb masses, wants . So for me it started like he went against it but still protested against it with staying HUMBLE. and representing his DNA. and then he showed people what the "people" want by the calm hits of luther and All of the Stars. and then he just went F U im doin it, im revolting. and the last song could be thought of as turn the tv off first aka get off media and propaganda spreading. And to top off, Trump leaving pissed. This superbowl is one Iconic and revolutionary one for me, not even about Drake anymore. He is making a statement to America while still using the popularity and momentum he has with Drake. While I agree that his name is forever tied to Drake, I feel like thats a necessity especially the culture agenda of the Rap Battle 100/10
Dylan
Bro, none of these companies can ever work with him again. Ever. He can't, that would be insane. He and apple had so many deals back in the day, they pushed him entirely. This is the biggest loss since they stabbed ceaser. He needs to stay in Australia and become a bloke out in the land that people rumor might be drake but they don't know.
Dylan
I love all of what y'all said about the performance, but I want to add he did all that while running the entire field back and forth. That is actually absurd. He ran across a field while rapping without stumbling and still annunciating all his words. It's wild as fuck. It's like what people admire about Beyonce with her performances and being able to keep singing as amazing as she does but don't want to treat it the same because the words are too fast for their graying fox news ears.
Shane
What really stuck out to me was the fact he didnt even use a backing track like most artists do at the Superbowl. Insane breathe vocal.
Jason Norwood
Once I saw Duolingo making A minor tweets I knew it was all the way over.

The "..howthefuckamistillsleeping" had me crying. Great performance, does get better with each watch. Appreciate the vid as always.
Derek
Loved the reaction fellas. As far as the set list goes, somebody mentioned that he owns the masters for everything on GNX. So that might’ve been part of the reason he leaned into so many of those songs, forward looking instead of your typical “legacy act” and boost the catalog that you own on the biggest stage.
Andrew Hendrie
11 months of pure dominance finishes with the perfect victory lap. Game Over. Outside the obvious, I loved 'they talk about it, I did it' in TV Off. Big as the Super Bowl - nah, it's just BIG ME.
Chujelly
Genuinely loved the video game motifs mixed with the need to conform and “play the game”; especially when people are heavy to critique Kendrick’s morals and what he stands on vs. him as a public figure/celebrity. If he only did The Hits people would’ve said he was cashing in/conforming, but then you bring in the sociopolitical commentary with conforming to what Americans and the general public want to see from a halftime show, and then in general the “warning wrong way” comment on our political climate and the Uncle Sam of it all. There’s just so much to chew on and so many meanings just in the performance set up alone before you even get into the song selection. I loved it~
Manuel
I liked the performance and the symbolisms! My only criticism would be maybe making the music louder if possible and performing maad city instead of peekaboo or man at the garden. That would’ve kept the energy higher imo
Hiro Utting
out of all of the possibilities and timeline we could've had, we're experiencing the most brutal one melting the ring aint even an option anymore
Mequet
If you watched the Apple Music interview Kendrick did, when they asked him about the performance and what to expect he said he loves being in the present. So I wasn’t expecting him to do many of his classics, I was expecting mostly stuff off GNX. And he delivered! I loved it. He also said it would be about storytelling and if you follow the tracks in the set list that’s what he did. I don’t think this performance was for the casual Kendrick/rap fan and I think that was intentional. I think it was a story about the culture and I think it was pretty incredible he did that on the biggest of stages.
Andrew Pace
Many more than that
Andrew Pace
The stadium holds 70,000 and you heard em alllll
Anais Anderson
I just caught that Kendrick and the dancers did the too small gesture on "heard you like 'em young." I'm crying.

Eli
We might need a pt 2 😂
Ahmeed Aliyu
From his recent interviews with Ebro and Nadeska to Timothee Chalamet his whole thing has been about “being in the present” and not wanting to relive the past which is y literally most of if not all his setlist was from the past year or so
Russell Robinson
I got one for you. I saw a video that said the 3rd X was represented by the recreation of a PGLang video Kendrick put out with him on a streetlight with Jorja Smith under it. Drake used to obsess/was with when she was 19. There was a light with a guy in top of it in his performance. Could be a stretch but fuckit it's Kenny we talking about.

Slasherohh H
kendrick really turned beef into a superbowl roll out.. man
Soul Pirate Ruichi
This is why I love ya’ll! Whew was nervous for no reason. Great reaction as usual 🖤🖤
Duane Tasha Dunlap
Each song was picked with the message that was being spoken by Samuel l jackson.. thats what made it fire and also the no backing down and it being straight rap is what makes it top tier!!!
jaz
The things Kendrick does sometimes ages like wine..at first I was a little put off bc I was ready to be lit off his performance..but the more I watched the replay and breakdowns I appreciated so much more and I like it way more then I did when I first watched it lol. He likes to challenge his audience and be polarizing.
Slasherohh H
i felt the exact same way watching it again just now. i feels way different on this second watch back, but its kendrick im not surprised lol
TyDye
One of my favorite halftime shows ever for me. No mercy either was amazing. The sike out when he was first gona play Not Like US was fire
Bart Diebels
❤️❤️❤️❤️
TyDye
Bruh it was an amazing halftime show. He went crazy. He did more than I thought. Masterpiece
Monty
The intro scene with the car was super dope, also all the 'bodies' leaving the car when he said, "We can go body for body "
VibeVilla
Definitely feel this! Catching so much on my 3rd watch
Muddy Huddy
Have you guys heard the Peekaboo theory that the three exes for XXXTENTACION were represented by the x of the actual stage layout for the song and his two exes Serena and SZA. Make of that what you wil, I think it’s amazing how Dot has people using their minds.
mattmattburr
Yeah it was 2 tracks bro
Muddy Huddy
I think this performance is like Kendricks music, the more that you watch and or listen to it the better it gets. I feel slightly less intellectual for not having caught it but, I think it’s just too much to catch all at once. Like any good art you need to sit with it for a little bit to get the full Experience. I hope people watch this many times.
Sara Rene
The more times you watch it the better it gets haha.
Isiah C.
10% lol okay 👍🏽
Marquis
Only 10% of the performance was about drake. The set was amazing and symbolic of so much more
VibeVilla
Yeah slowly getting the full understanding of the intent behind it, dope
Isiah C.
That shit was mid. Kendrick got so many classics but made it too much about Drake smh
Eli
The setlist was intentional he was conveying a message
Kreative
Yall think the intro to the superbowl was done by pglang?? Or just a coincidence that it looks like a big ass red button
