All good, ill just post here -MIKE has been at it for ten years now, the style you heard in Some Rap Songs by Earl Sweatshirt was heavily influenced by his first album, may god bless your hustle -He's the forefather of the SLUMS subgenre, named after a school project with his friends. Earl did SLUMS in SRS, and Mavi did it in Let The Sun Talk..a lot of rappers were inspired by him -DJ Blackpower is MIKE himself, most of his music is self-produced -He's deeply attached to his mother who passed a couple of years ago, she's everywhere in skits, lyrics, album covers, samples..she's the central point of his career, "May god bless your hustle" was a text she sent him that made him go with this title for an album. -MIKE raps in a very stream-of-thought-heavy style, hence why the intro is at the end of the album, it seems like you can play it in an endless loop just going through his mind -His late music (Beware of the Monkey/Burning Desire/Showbiz) is much more lighter than his past music, he's 26 but he's already a veteran, with more than 10 albums, the start of his career sounds a lot more like Solace by Earl for an entire project.

Triple Black Diamonds 2 is probably my favorite Nack album with Al. Divino and a few features by Hidden Character. It’s on streaming if you guys wanna check it out in a vibesesh or in your own time. It’s a good intro to the sound that’s coming out of Lynn, Massachusetts that I think Gunn is trying to put on thru Nack. You wouldn’t think it but there’s a crazy underground scene in Boston full of a lot of dope MCs.

Estee Nack is less about his lyrics than it is about his flow and energy, similar to Gunn. If Gunn is the grimey brick slangin big boss of Buffalo, Nack is the plug out in the Dominican Republic smokin a Cuban on the beach while the deal goes down elsewhere type shit. Nack and a bunch of his people from Lynn Mass (al.divino, Hidden Character) all have a signature flow style they dubbed “The Splash,” where they write the verses and then basically one take it w/o knowing exactly how they’re going to ride the beat until they record it. It’s kind of like a drunken boxing style of rap, super unconventional but the pockets he finds are dope.
