General Grievous coughs a lot like that because he fought Mace Windu and during the fight with Windu. Windu used the force and crushed grievous chest plate which damaged his lungs resulting in his cough. Grievous doesnโt like the Jedi from an incident that happened before the clone wars something that Dooku orchestrated. I forgot what exactly
