For sure we all know if Goku wanted to win he would've & when you've been such a long time DB fan the show basically knows that we know who taking it lightly or holding back. Krillin & Goku are literally life time friends. Goku wouldn't hurt Krillin at all <3

That's totally fine it just means we have even more time to prepare for their OG Dragon ball reactions. Which is REALLY going to be so lit. I'm actually looking forward to that a little more than Super. Plus they upload perfectly for my busy schedule! Do what works for you Bethany & Kim! <3

I completely understand Bethany & Kims scheduling and i am totally satisfied with the way you two upload. I have heavy school work & a desk job so the way you two upload is always perfect timing for me. Don't change it all please. It's perfect in my opinion
Serpent King
Honestly dude, cry about it lol, that's a ridiculous take. It's their channel, they'll upload at the pace they want.

That was also a pretty shit release schedule, also it's not the same situation at all. That was the release of a new instalment of a show so it's given leeway. Also its an animated show that takes nearly a month to make one episode so it makes sense that they would space it out. This however is a reaction channel that already has access to all 131 episodes. Who tf hangs out with their friends says "lets watch a show" puts on one episode and stops. Im saying their upload schedule is pretty bad especially if you have no interest in their other reaction which I don't for most of it.

The new ending theme is upbeat, but has a sad undertone to it as later on that year (2017) Bulma's Japanese voice actress sadly passed away. It's sad to think about, as if the creaters unknowingly did a pre-mortem tribute for her

It’s fair enough though, when the show was originally coming out it was only once a week, so it’s not much different, if not better than when we watched the show as it came out
Bethany and Ken
Totally get that. With our schedule with Bethany's day job and the other shows we react to we just don't have the time to squeeze it in. Understand if that means you leave for awhile and just come back to binge for a month, or if that's too much of a hassle to keep up with we understand that as well 🤗
Bethany and Ken
😎👍🙂
Bethany and Ken
Yeah that actually does make sense. Thanks! 😊

i strongly suggest watching the Tournament in back to back episodes/more episodes per week. At the rate you are watching this with 47 eps left that's nearly half a year to finish the arc.

I like this explanation
Jeffrey F
In the credits, that was actually teenage Bulma from Dragonball
Gus
Weirdly enough, the beam struggle never bothered me. I've always interpreted it as Goku just testing Krillin's resolve.

I definitely cannot wait for when you react to DragonBall. You think Goku has poor social cues now? 😆

Super sayian blue is about complete ki control so he can manipulate ki with great precision also use his ki at peak efficiency and because Goku has incredible Ki Control when in the SSB form, he can lower his PL to even lower than his base when using it. One of the writers for dragonball super episodes mentioned on twitter that "Goku who goes around scouting, fights not to defeat his opponent, but to find out about them.i think he turned blue to motivate his opponent. thats how i interpret it. I apologise if there was any misunderstanding" Also this writer did episode 86 which is about android 17 so his comment applies to that episode as well

A lot of people took issue with the beam clash at super saiyan blue. But a theory is that ssb is all about ki control, so being in blue was actually the only way he could dial himself back enough to have a clash with krillin. If that makes sense
Knight Spearhead
This is my favorite outro of the show :D
JT
Interesting. Never heard of that before. My mistake

Its common thing in general in asia not just in anime. Its a myth that if someone is talking behind your back it'll cause you to sneeze and while some dont read the episode title those of us who do know whats to come
Jaylon Carrington
The anime and manga differ. The anime doesn't take power gaps TOO seriously in favor of coolness but hey. Coolness is cool man.
Hohoho
I loved how Goku called Marron a stinker lol. Every time she cheers it’s always the most unhinged ego-shattering shit ever
Serpent King
I don't think that it's a spoiler: the ToP actually starts in episode 97, just looked it up.
Nicholas Daniels
It’s the same in Abridged and the original show We don’t see 17 at all after the Cell Saga . Until now .
Jeffrey F
Did 18 really kicked the kamehameha beam struggle away like that? Lol
Jason Rogue
Super is a love letter to Dragon Ball, we have so many callbacks to OG DB, and brings back characters we haven't seen in years.
Jason Rogue
17 working at an animal sanctuary kinda has him fulfil his brother's wishes, 16. Although there were traces of 17 liking animals in Z.
Jason Rogue
Boogie Back is possibly my favorite closing, it shows Bulma at 16 in original Dragon Ball to Super Bulma at 50. Just to show how much she's grown from wanting to wish for the perfect boyfriend, to having EVERHTHING now.
JT
4:50 That's a common gag in shonen anime. Cut to a character sneezing when someone is talking about them behind their back.
JT
In terms of choreography, Goku and Krillin’s match is arguably one of the best in Super. Love when Dragon Ball integrates more strategy and mindfulness into its fights.
JT
The Kamehameha clash between Goku and Krillin is the first moment I think the anime uses SS Blue a little too liberally. While Blue hadn’t managed to “win” many fights outright before this episode, it was still mostly being used gods and the best fighters from other universes. I get that Goku’s severely holding back on Krillin with precise ki control, but having Krillin push it back even a little bit starts to take away from Blue’s prestige as the strongest transformation imo. I’m all for Krillin getting more respect in fights, but I feel like they should’ve just kept it to Krillin being able to overcome stronger fighters through strategy/techniques instead of pushing the needle on how strong he is.
JT
Kinda funny how Krillin was the one to develop the 100x Solar Flare when the move originally belonged to Tien.
