one thing i love about 17 being a park ranger is that you can see how he could be doing it in honor of 16 and his love for animals as well. he's living his life doing what 16 would have

You guys watched abridged so i dont think abridged showcased it too much but 18 was right about 17's immaturity. During the Cell saga 17 was incredibly immature lol he's grown a lot tho since then & one can argue Goku had it worse than Vegeta because Goku never had a father or mother & he always needed to be his own light.

This is one of the few episodes of the recruitment arc that feels like blatant filler (imo). Pretty stupid story-wise, but at least we get to see how 17’s attitude compares to how he was in Z. The juxtaposition between Goku and 17's demeanor is kinda amusing too.
