I am going against trend and not talk about the action. Two things: (1) I think the conversation from episode 1 until now was focused on getting these characters to this place, with very few side detours; (2) Too much lore drop in too little time, I need (need!) more information.

The only reason it stands out to me is because he said his field of vision went red and etc, and his eyes became red too

The animation was a bit off, i still think it was the second best animated episode in this show.

Will doesn't "need" glasses. But the glasses server 3 purposes: - reminder of his girl (she gifted them to him... which is why he's so devastated) - protection from debris, fluids and wind (obviously) - Giving him tunnel-vision to focus on the target without getting distracted.

Those combat animations are almost flawless. And it's normal to not see the whole attack. Why waste 2 days of work on something that would literally be seen for only 2-3 frames? It's not worth it. And having it shown in slow-mo would just break the flow of the whole scene.

11/10 ... nothing more to add ... although... 1 thing I hate about this episode: It ended too quickly!

Some parts looked a bit off, especially earlier in the episode. But even a few a bit later. Like Will's sword made out of magic sequence. You see him attack, you see him land... you don't actually see the attack hit the monster (God of Highschool sadly did this a lot).

Fair enough, though they did do a lot of eye shots and with a special ending; I feel like something in the episode was significant enough for it, but I don’t know

I guess this practically confirms the 'gay' person to be Elfie in disguise. I also think she could probably solo this creature. Pretty awesome episode, though I don't think the animation seemed to be as good as last week. Guess they finally hit the point where they had to turn down a bit because of budget (or perhaps time constraints).
