Well if you have seen the trailer you would probably already know the answer. As when A-1 studio give it their all to a show. It always becomes an anime of the year contender. So I would say that they pretty much have this in their bag

Solo Leveling Abridged prophesied that entire first scene. A-Rank asshole was at least being brutally pragmatic, even if he was wrong. Essentially telling them to hunker down and try to stay alive (a daunting task but maybe doable) when he (based on his knowledge and experience) knew that their chances of survival accompanying him were even lower, possibly even affecting the higher ranked party's survival chances.
