Dad looks like he got Jumanji'd at the very beginning of the story, and has been surviving in whatever dungeon sucked him in for over a decade now. Hwang has no idea what hit him. The potential problem I see is that the catastrophe that Dad described sounds an awful lot like the shadow monarch's power set, now wielded by his son. Jinho getting adopted is even funnier if you've watched Sister Leveling on YT.

Oh yes I love that shit, and I really want to play characters like that in my games. That is also one of the many reasons for why I love Eminence in Shadows. As they summon their weapons and armor, but it’s slime.

i always like it when you can have a mage summon like armor or weapons via a spell and it functions like a physical object but is energy or element based. makes for the coolest combat

In one of the DND campaigns that I’m currently in. I’m playing a sorcerer but I have build that character in such a way. That I have more hit points and will be able to be in the front lines. Slashing enemies and shooting off different spells as needed. And in a second DND campaign I’m playing a Paladin. Who smite the enemies which is so satisfying when you hit them

Dragon Age Veilguard had my fav version of a spellblade ive ever used in a video game but I like all versions of magic meets melee. Stuff like a knight enchanter from dragon age inquisition as an example you summon a magic sword to slash enemies with ontop of standard magic
