though I'm pretty sure this is the first isekai I've seen that had a stat menu screen read the OP hero and he broke time and space to display a ranger reading (it always is omg he looks weak and isn't or omg look at how strong)

Interesting reference to Diablo 1... I mean a jewel in the forhead made him look demonic... kinda like a Black Soul Dragon from Yugioh (the one that was Joeys Red-eyes and Yugi's Summoned skull in the OG series).

I came to this show thinking I would hate it so much, instead I am loving every bit of it. I hated power rangers and everything like it and it feels so refreshing to get such a parody of all those tropes.

The OP was far more polished than I'd expect, and a very nice touch. I shouldn't be surprised that the leader of the Friendship Squad would be such a supportive hype man for everyone around him. The turbo kick moment felt like a natural secondary ability and not a standard sentai asspull. Superzord simultaneously getting stuck and crushing the minotaurs to death was hilarious. Having to get everyone to buy in so that the Power of Friendship Cannon works, leading into everyone posing is just the right kind of brain rot. Nice to see the two new rangers aren't both women, a harem just feels wrong for this Isekai.

Idola's (Yihdra?) got me hooked with the way that she calls out all the sentai bullshit. It gets me every time. I'm going to be so sad when she inevitably gets sucked into the BS properly and stops calling it out.
