I love how there's weird moments of remarkable animation, like the cat walking in a prior episode and Alina bouncing around after falling in this one. It's like there's one animator who's going all out.

where I use my subs releases 1 hour to 2 hours before Crunchyroll. every site has different subs but they never change much for me waiting an hour is pointless for me

Yeah, the more I read about it, it appears Amazon replaces CR subtitles with AI ones. It's unclear why it does this since the media already has subtitles, but it appears to be a known problem. Compare this episode specifically, and you'll see what I mean. The original CR subs are not totally different than the AI ones on Amazon, but they are different enough that the tone of the characters changes.

It took me until this episode to realize, so that must be generally true. But this episode specifically, the subs are better on crunchy. Arnolds vibe is completely different. And the jade Alina interactions seem more serious. I don't know what's going on. They must've fired the translator at Amazon.

I'm not sure where you're watching, but your subtitles are different from the ones on Crunchyroll. Some of the interactions between Jade and Alina are slightly different, as are those between Alina and the Dark God.

The longer this show goes on the more convinced I am becoming that Alina is basically a prettier version of the Incredible Hulk. Just waiting for the 'Alina smash' line.

It did air during the spring season of 2022, which is understandable why you did not see it. As it did air so many better shows at that time. But yeah I remember the name because I did save it OP to a playlist that I have for anime music & OP/EDs

I remembering the hiring stats for one anime that I saw a couple of years ago. Called RPG Real estate, in that world for 200 people that did seek the job. Only one of them got the job and chance to work as a guild receptionist girl

there's never been a single fantasy anime that has had empty spots not filled at an adventurers guild, it's clear to me this is a job like any receptionist job that doesn't take much to fill. the only time you see them struggle is when it comes to the actual adventurers because that is a dangerous job. otherwise as we see with how she talks about this job it's one many want because of how cozy it is and in demand it is. ill accept the argument they only want the best of the best but let's not kid ourselves this is a job that needs more than polite person and decent math skills

Especially if the job is popular enough and sought after. Which usually guild receptionist girls usually are in several fantasy worlds. So if they where officially hiring it would go pretty fast IMAO

You're talking about a position that already exists. All the guild's counters are clearly staffed. It's going to take a lot more than just a job posting before the guild's ready to hire and train new receptionists.

a receptionist is replaced in less than a day in the real world. what are you on about. all these jobs you could quit and they would have your spot filled before you cleaned out your desk. my girl works at a hospital, the replacement of the receptionist of one of the main doctors was handled in 3 hours started the next day, fresh hire. these jobs don't take long to fill if you're competent
