🕑 Added 2025-02-20 16:26:30 +0000 UTCthis backstory just elevated dr stone once again to another level! seeing Xeno's backstory and what led to them be petrified was amazing. it's interesting how Xeno never figured out the solution to revive if people didn't stay awake (we know nitric acid if they stayed awake is enough but if not there is a whole formula)
given that the Americans were close to figuring out how to reverse the petrification you have to wonder if that's why Why Man turned them all that day vs the small amounts like before

The way I see it, Xeno had all of that advanced spectroscopic analysis data telling him the stone was some kind of supermaterial. Simple chemical solutions like etching fluid probably didn’t occur to him. Senku just figured, “it looks like rock, and it’s porous, and it broke off me like a shell. Maybe something that etches rock will crack it faster” and completely lucked into a reanimation formula that literally bathes your body in a golden glow and heals all your wounds as it depetrifies you.

Xeno a genius Rocket engineer and such. Senku an all rounder genius. Xeno had only Adults to influence his actions once awake. Senku had mostly kids and teens to influence him. Xeno had no support and had to spearhead everything. Senku has best dad and thanks to him has more support than you could ever hope for post apocylpse. They make such good rivals and your instantly wanting more once its clear. Dr. Stones Author is wasted on not doing an Isekai I swear; it would be the funest most crazy story ever; yet somehow be logically sound.
