Honestly, if you're an S-ranked hunter, 'arrogant' is part of the job description. Hoping we get to meet the Americans at some point, they're going to be either off-the-charts arrogant and condescending or Dr. Manhattan levels of zero fucks given.

For sure. Wouldnât even be surprised if Jinwoo did try it a few other times (off screen/sheet) but thereâs just no way they were gonna animate that. It wasnât drawn in the original manwha and the anime is already cutting quite a lot to keep the pace going. Totally makes sense from a logical standpoint to always try to get it even if it is expected to fail but just doesnât make sense to animate it.

Yeah as it can get confusing when they say soul. Seeing how his shadow ability is to take someone else soul and make them into a warrior for him

The Elixar explicitly states disease on it. So it can neutralize everything that works that way. Scars and missing limbs will likly not count. But aging is on the table possibly. No my concern is that Eternal Sleep might have a return to effect timer on it. Such as in a year the Eternal sleep returns because the potion effect wore off. Afterall the magic like stuff is all cruel in design.

The scene with his mom was so raw and well done! Love that next episode we are exploring more side characters too :)

Thatâs just a quest requirement/goal. Kill Baran and collect his soul. It a system quest goal to âcollect his soulâ by killing him and get rewards. It is completely separate from him âarising the deadâ and âcollecting their souls as part of his armyâ. Admitted, they shouldnât have said that as to not confuse the two.

Poor Esil who got left with just a shadow knight, when Jin-Woo ditched her

From the previous episode did not say that he did get Baran when a pop up showed up

I find a lot of anime fans take what a show says at face value and never challenge it. if jin woo tries a few demons and says he can't, he's probably right. but if the job is done and some cool demons are there imma want to try to add them until I have enough evidence to say okay def waste of energy.

It was stated the first time he step foot at the bottom of the demon tower that he canât arise any of the demons. However, last episode, they were very specific when Jinwoo said that Baran can control âsomething other than demonsâ. It was pretty much a hint that the wyvern could be added to the shadow army because it was not a demon.

I can hear the people already scream "FILLER!!! BOOOOO!" ... lol Honestly... I'd extort so much money from rich folks who need that cure ... I'd turn evil AF. hehe I think the worst thing about this episode is that it ended. I really want to see those pretty arrogant other hunters to get their asses handed. :D

Technically he almost always got all the rewards, he just had to choose which one he used right away and which he kept for later. I think the only exception was that he had to choose between a Blessed and a Cursed random box at one point, where he only got one of them. The rewards for e.g. his daily training were always given to him in full. In fairness, that part was actually done in a very confusing way, both in the Manwha aswell as the anime... maybe the Japanese/Korean language versions are more clear about this, but for us it was always only decipherable via context.

this episode shows that slice of life moments can be just as good or even better than fight scenes

After he left the Demon's Castle, a screen popped up saying that the dungeon boss was defeated and that area would revert back to its original state. I'm curious if that means they are going back to the demon realm, and if so, did he keep one of his soldiers there that he could possibly switch with at a later time? That would be crazy if he could jump between realms! On another note, I thought there was a pretty good chance that his mom would revive only on the idea that if he and Cha become a thing, and he wants to move out, who's going to be there for his sister? I mean, she's almost an adult, but still. The two main things he was fighting for have all but been resolved at this point. So what will his next goals be? I love this show! Thanks for the watch!

oh he does? that's awesome I thought it was like the others times where he chooses what one he wanted

my point was even if they say no demons can be extracted, try it every time because you never know till you try. people did try arguing the dragon was a demon and well we can see why its always good to try cause you never truly know until you do this isn't directed at you just so you know, but I find a lot of anime fans take what a show says at face value and never challenges it. if jin woo tries a few demons and says he can't, he's probably right. but if the job is done and some cool demons are there imma want to try to add them until I have enough evidence to say okay def waste of energy.

It isn´t in the anime for some reason but Jinwoo forshadows that Kaisel isn´t a demon. Which should make it possible to Extract.
