simple cure for overtime. Charge the company X5 norm rates instead of 1.5. Then if it reaches OT of 30+ hours it becomes X10 instead of X5.

Honestly... it's Jade's own fault if he keeps going after her. If she keeps pushing him away and he still keeps coming, it's not her fault. He's an adult ... He actively persues her ... when it comes to corporations IRL there's few that are genuinely good. Costco and Arizona Ice Tea come to mind with their CEOs but in general best you get is not totally evil but questionable

Your comment about what that Google ceo said, reminds me also what Elon Musk said to his Twitter employees. After he bought that company which is that they would need to get used to much longer work days and harsh working conditions

Also the thing about where the employer say to that he wants his employers to do his work for him. Which he has been delaying for years, and the reward for that is just to get a day off on their birthday. That is so evil one of the more evil things that I have seen in anime. I’m not even really sure that Amazon is that evil (but I guess they would be if they could get away with it).

Boy, how we've come full circle on this. You were right about a bunch of things. She _should_ absolutely quit that job. But for her mental issues, there's nothing else keeping her there. I'm not buying this whole "annual refresher training" nonsense. Seems like an afterthought/contrived to get Alina there. And I wish she would stop jerking Jade around, it's becoming overt abuse at this point. It's crossing into new territory beyond just taking advantage of his affections, now she's actively using them to change his personality. It's honestly pretty disgusting to see, even if it's not clear if she's doing it intentionally or not. Rampant incompetence all around. Also, how is "15 years" 2 generations?
