I'm sunk in on this show now. It's definitely overlord-like but not boring. I've got a bone to pick with the MC already, and I hope it's part of his growth arc. He is very much treating this like a game. He doesn't realize that these people are real and this world is real to them. That the stuff he says is outrageous to them, and that he's being completely unreasonable. This all from the "tastes like flesh" line.

post covid the world has turned into a truly selfish place that until bad things effect them they dont give af. the lack of empathy online anymore is insane and with the rise of ai and more seeing no issue with it it'll only get worse. because of all this the single idea of enjoying silly lil isekai shows is even seen as a bad thing as no one knows how to talk anymore and just are dicks. the internet sucks
