Now about the quest itself. This is actually one of the more well received ones as the mystery of who this other Albedo is, really caught the attention of most players. And funny thing is Beth, other players also caught on to the imposter’s act, but not in a way would guess. People that know how Albedo looks, immediately recognized something was wrong when the camera showed a view of his neck. The imposter has a Yellow Geo symbol on his neck to signify it’s a “faulty product”. So you can guess why they were acting weirdly when Paimon mentioned throwing away useless pieces.

Robots do exist in this world, as there are some you can fight, but this is still a very Fantasy-esque world that doesn’t really reflect ours. But at this point of the story you 2 are at now, you wouldn’t really think stuff like modern kitchen appliances would exist because most of what you’ve seen is very magic based. No. Albedo is not an Android. I’m guessing you associate the word “synthetic” with stuff like Terminator that has synthetic skin to look like a person. What Albedo is, is a “Homunculus”. In real life, it’s the theory that in every little sperm is a fully grown person just waiting to be formed. Very complicated science stuff. But in terms of Fantasy, a Homunculus is a person created not through natural means, but through Alchemy. They basically are an artificial person. At least due the laws of nature, they are artificial.
