This is a really great analysis and reminder of Asami's dad's journey and reading it over the heart break of it is readily apparent.

I honestly think it really sucks that Hiroshi (Asami's dad) died because he was a villain driven by heartbreak. He was a perfectly normal businessman until his wife was murdered by a bender. That fueled him with hatred towards benders, which Amon exploited and fueled. It seemed like his time in prison really gave him the space to reflect and properly process his grief and calm down. He turned his focus back on his daughter, which is where it should have been all along, and he seemed at peace. At least Asami can now be proud of him again and not have any lingering doubts about his motivations. He gave up his life for her, which is more than he would have done in season 1.

"He's got his poop emoji." Had to do a double take because I was still getting the episode set up when I suddenly heard that. Cute dog toy. Watching the colossus walk through the water makes me wonder; who would win between that and Unavaatu? Credit where it's due, I can't imagine the amount of precision and control need to operate all those individual controls simultaneously to pilot this thing. "Oh god...why do I feel like they're gonna kill him." Bethany, why would you manifest such a thing....that's totally obvious because we've all seen enough stories. "Couple's trivia?" "They're gonna crush at game night." Oh hell yeah, set those two up for the newlywed game, watch them destroy everything. "I love your puppy dog songs." What tier to I have to be to get access to those? "One episode left." Yep, and boy oh boy is it a doozy. Looking forward to the conversations that are gonna take place after th-HI BUCKY!
