Ikora is by far my favorite character in the destiny universe (besides drifter and Osiris), and the first time I saw the trailer and saw her get shot, I almost lost my sanity and went crazy lol. So I know how Bethany felt when she saw that. And I am amazed and impressed that you guys are going to play the final shape campaign. You really are in for a treat and I can’t wait for you guys to actually experience it first hand, rather than seeing it from someone else’s perspective 🙂🙂

Playing it will be super cool but mind you that you won't get the real-time live events that we got when it launched, since the raid has been beaten now and the ending was unlocked for the playerbase you won't get the doomsday clock in game and the environment for the Pale Heart physically changed after. And a lot of the post campaign quests that make up a big bulk of the expansion's narrative are optional and you can miss them. The ones you need to watch out for is Excision which is the end Finale for Final Shape, don't do that one until you've done the quest from Cayde, the adventures (orange mission icons there's 6 in total), and the series of Ghost quests that you'll receive from a character on the holo-projector. All of these quests and missions take place before the Finale and will have a message indicator when you launch them that'll say something along the lines of "Three days before the Final Shape"

I think Final Shape is the best too, I put in about 14 hours a day for the first two weeks of the launch.

It's staggered based on logins, 1st login its New Light (which can be skipped now), 2nd time its the intro to the newest expansion so you can unlock the destination, 3rd time its the current seasonal intro so you can get the artifact. Luckily since we're long past Echoes they won't get the cutscene that spoils the ending of Final Shape so getting the intro to Heresy and quitting out of it won't be nearly as disruptive.

i think the way it will work actually is the new light campaign happens (can be skipped) if completed on the next login (if it hasnt started) Final shape automatically starts and then on the next login heresy's intro is started

They’re playing through it to have fun, it’s something different, doesn’t have to all be out right now. They react to so much other content, Destiny isn’t the only franchise they have to focus on. Get over yourself man lmao

No, it’s that they only upload destiny stuff once a week, they finished season of the wish almost a month ago and should have already uploaded a part one to the final shape rather than doing a bunch of other unnecessary stuff

They also upload a TON of content watching other games and shows, it’s foolish and short sighted to expect that the type of content you like is the ONLY content they make. I recommend you go look at their playlists to pass the time, you’ll find something you like

I beat the final shape within 5 hours on legendary which is highly unlikely that they’re doing, They aren’t playing through a long game

You guys are almost at the end. The Final Shape is on the horizon. If you guys are this stressed and focused on the trailers, you guys are in for a ride with this story as it will keep you on the edge of your seats. It was something to experience after being in the franchise for 10 years when it came out. Every battle, every struggle, every loss that we have endured in this story has all lead to this. We were brought back to stop the end of everything, no matter the cost. I can't wait to see your gameplay of the Final Shape

That’s why I said arguably. I love forsaken but unfortunately it’s still not back in the game. I think final shape edges out witch queen from an environmental storytelling standpoint.

One thing to keep in mind, Destiny can be extremely overwhelming for new players. Pay attention to all of the tool tips. That being said, The Final Shape campaign is one of if not arguably the best campaign in all of Destiny. I can’t wait to see you guys play.

Oh playing the Final shape that's an interesting development, very interested to see you play, who knows could even get to the older stuff and be playing raids in no time at all lol XD. But yeah these trailers were hype as hell I remember the night the Teaser dropped and seeing Cayde at the end i was shocked, was so happy the hype this time was worth it unlike Lightfall
