Expected the dogs to catch your eyes. But Iām really glad you liked the Tinkaton line. The whole little girl with big hammer is a trope that always amuses me. I mean, seeing something very tiny with a comically oversized weapon will never not be overlooked. And Beth, Iām really glad you learned just how much Turtles are ingrained in a lot of mythologies around the world. Most of the time theyāre used as representations of Longevity, Wisdom, and Endurance. At least, thatās what used for in Asian cultures. Western ones are pretty much the same with some additions of Stability and Protection.

To answer about Lockstinās question whether PokĆ©mon Legends Z-A will be considered a Gen 9 or Gen 10 game. Itās Gen 9. A new generation is always the introduction to a new region and new sets of PokĆ©mon. We have no information as to what Gen 10 will be like, but I imagine itāll be a few years after Legends Z-A.

Top 3 Gen 9 PokĆ©mon: 1. Skeledirge š„/š» The Fire Starter PokĆ©mon of Gen 9. No matter what design each one has, I will always love my Fire babies that stick with me to the very end of my journey. And it being a Fire Crocodile with inspirations from āThe Day of the Deadā celebration in Spanish cultures, just added to my intrigue to it. 2. Scovillain š±/š„ The first ever Grass/Fire type PokĆ©mon. I always make it a priority to try out every new Fire type combination. And I absolutely love its goofy pepper design. The red head spews of streams of flames and the green head has chemicals that make it angry all the time. So itās a really bad tempered pepper monster. While I do like it, some fans feel like Scovillain is a weak final evolution design, and Iām kinda with them. Hoping in the future itāll have like 3 heads with the third one being a yellow pepper. 3. Chi-Yu ā«ļø/š„ The flaming goldfish and one of the 4 Treasures of Ruin. An ordinary pair of beads that were given life by the envy of those that wanted it. And so Chi-Yu melts everything in its path to swim through and cause destruction. Never thought Iād see the day a goldfish would become a Fire type PokĆ©mon, but Iām all here for it!

Yeah, I do agree that some of the tangents Lockstin can go on a bit too long, but heās also having fun going over them, so that still wins me over.

Ogerponās story is one of the saddest ones Iāve seen for a Legendary and the fact itās all an inverse of the Momotaro story is just very interesting to me.

I kinda skipped over playing Scarlet and Violet game so it's nice to get a run-down of all the pokemon! I've actually never seen the Momotaro inspired pokemon at all so they were really interesting

Oh god Iām so sorry this is where you were introduced to the concept of a Rat King. Basically (as far as I know at least) medieval historical records talk about reports of people seeing a pack rats scurrying around but all the ratsā tails were twisted and tied together, which freaked the hell out of those medieval folks. Nowadays itās kinda ambiguous to if Rat Kings are a real natural phenomenon or some sort of fucked up urban legend, because *dead* ones have been found, just no living ones. So no one knows how Rat Kings even form if it is natural. Again, this is what I vaguely remember myself, I donāt frequently think about Rat Kings because holy shit best case scenario this is some freak natural phenomenon, worst case scenario itās a sick torturous urban legend that people like too much.

Ah Lokix. The Kamen Rider Pokemon that I nicknamed after one. You made a reaction video years ago about the female riders. Would love to see more Kamen Rider reactions if given the chance.
