Something of note from last episode and this one. This episode we learned that Eisen (The Drawf) loves super Sour Grapes, and last episode Fern noted one spell Frieren learned was to turn Grapes Sour

One of my favorite parts of this episode is how it showcases Qual's intelligence, and how he is still very much a threat. Going by Frieren's telling, it took humanity decades to properly break down Zoltraak, and then develop new defensive magic that could block it. Humanity has reached the point where Zoltraak and the corresponding defense are "ordinary magic", but it still took a LONG time(on our scale) to get there. Qual is told of the new advancements, and is shown the new defensive magic, and has at most a few minutes to analyze it. And he is very quickly able to identify its primary weakness, as well as a way to try to exploit that weakness. His magic is ordinary now, but if he were left alone, he likely would very quickly surpass it.
