Something I'd also like to point out, if you're watching on Netflix and didn't already encouter them, get ready for post-credits scenes. Usually Netflix itself indicates if there is a scene, when the "next episode" button doesn't appear immediately into the outro, then there is usually a post credits scene.

Well, we established that Lust, Gluttony and (you missed the name) Envy, aren't humans. Can we then really call Gluttony a cannibalist? Considering that cannibalism is the act of consuming ones own kind and not humans in general. He still might be, don't know if he would eat the others, but we haven't seen any proof for that yet. So, eating humans for them is perhaps the same as eating some (raw) chicken is for us. And considering the way they spoke, they probably see humans on the same level as cattle anyways. Not wanting to defend eating humans here, I am just getting hung up on a technicality. xD

Yes Father Cornello did exist, we saw Lust kill him and Gluttony eat him in the previous episode after the Elrics beat him. Envy just turned into him to continue to manipulate the cult of people in town. And it’s the same town not a different town, like any other brainwashed cult even after he was exposed there are still people who believed. Hence there being a riot going on (the cult “believers” and non-believers)

Gluttony isnt a pet. They’re more like siblings. And their names were said a couple times but you guys missed it. The woman with gluttony is lust so you guys were right about that and the shapeshifters name was only said once but its envy

I can understand the thought process that the antagonists you’ve seen could be demons, since the series has very clearly setup a core central theme of “science vs religion,” and I won’t spoil whether you’re right or wrong, but I will say that you may want to look into the basic philosophies of real life alchemy to understand some of the references and nuances of this story. There was a real Father Cornello. If you recall, after his embarrassing encounter with the Elric Brothers, Lust gave Gluttony permission to eat him. This is the same city as before, but the shapeshifter took his place to further stoke violence in the populace. As far as the shapeshifter’s name… they take on the appearance of others, in essence coveting what others have. I’ll leave you with that, hahaha. This reaction series got me to watch it again, and in 3 days I’ve nearly binged the whole series, hahaha. It’s my favorite anime/manga of all time, absolutely full of deep symbolic meaning, narrative themes, and amazing character work. It’s the sort of story that you can spend years analyzing and still find more depth you didn’t realize was there. I’ll say right now, no matter how small and insignificant a character might seem to be at any given time, they *always* serve a greater purpose and role. Absolutely every single person is crucial to the story with not a single superfluous character. This comment has been passed down through the Armstrong family for generations!

All three of the villains name's have been mentioned, the woman is indeed Lust and the new guy is Envy. BTW, Gluttony ate Father Cornello in a previous episode so Envy was definitely just making a copy of him

The priest (Father Cornello) was a real person but Lust headshot him with one her nails and Gluttony at his body in episode 3 after the situation with Ed and Al. Lust called the new one that was just introduced "Envy" so now we have Lust, Envy, and Gluttony. Also, that is the same town (Liore) but Envy transformed into Father Cornello and gave a speech that incited a huge riot between the people who hate him for what he did and the people who still have blind faith in him.
