Oh man I am so glad I started a Membership when you got to this part of the story. Not to down play the slower episodes but that is more for personal watching and getting and feeling into the world but for reaction content, these next couple of episodes is that I thrive on. Can't wait for more Frieren Fridays.

I like your opinion and I I definitely agree that it felt like the demon child was trying to give the couple another child as a means of making amends. Now whether that was the truth or I was manipulated the way she wanted me to be I don't know, but at least it did work to a degree.

Eehh to me the demon little girl just didn’t knew any better. She ate the girl because she see human as food. Like we see animals as food. Then she thought she was doing the right thing by giving them someone else daughter so they can stop looking at her with crazy eyes. Their reason for looking at her like that is understandable but still They could’ve did a better job at teaching her from right and wrong at least imo

Man this episode COOKED! Freiren may be detached from time to time (she’s learning to overcome that episode by episode), but the amount of badassery she has is just immeasurable, and the VA does so well to convey that. Definitely, definitely looking forward to the next episode 🔥

While I have watched all of season 1, I don't remember when the episodes end so I had the exact same reaction when it ended as I was so excited for the reactions of the next bits. Can't wait for next episode! Also, though it's not a big thing, I do love how this episode humanizes Himmel a bit by showing he does make mistakes when he decided to let the demon live.
