First off, I want to apologize for the delay in posting and responding to messages. As some of you know, I've been dealing with some family matters recently, and whenever I have a bit of free time, I’ve been trying to focus on game development and the upcoming updates. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience.
I wanted to share some of the updates i plan on delivering over the next month. So here's whats coming:
Next Shopkeeper updates
Work in progress update v0.26 is coming tomorrow with overhauled combat mechanics to make it less frustrating when engaging in fights. This will also include the implementation of character stats that will reflect damage, chance and other elements of the game. I’ll also add methods to increase these stats later on.
Following that, the next few updates will focus on completing Rory’s event, unlocking the rest of the options for you to enjoy. I’m also working on some additional features that I’ll try to squeeze in if time permits!
NPC tales: The adventurer
As previously mentioned, I’m working on an alternative version to test out a different combat system and animations. This will be a standalone demo that will focus on combat and progression mechanics, featuring Clover both in and out of combat as well as monster girls in combat. The reason it’s a standalone is to test new code and mechanics and avoid conflict with the code in the Shopkeeper demo, causing more bugs and glitches. Ultimately, I want to bring the best of both into the main game.
NPC Tales: Character preview
I’ll soon be adding a new Patreon tier that includes a fun little dress-up game featuring announced characters. This will be an interactive preview using prepped assets, with no actual gameplay besides playing with the clothing options. More details on that coming soon!
Additionally there will be some updates for the discord server to keep things running more smoothly and hopefully create a better experience for everyone.

Having different parts of a game be different is an artifact/curse of the patreon business model. What D.Mon is suggesting is a good way to test concepts :)

Having a standalone version of a different part of the game is really smart. It can make the game feel disconnected when it gets out of hand, but I don't think you need to worry about that at this point.
