Yeah, especially in places that don't have gas pipes to all of the homes for gas heat. Still better than the solid-fuel furnace my grandpa had in his house--he had to shovel in fuel (coal, coke, charcoal, wood, or whatever) every four to six hours or the fire would go out, which meant interrupting his sleep halfway through to do it.

It wasn't my car, it was the oil tank in my basement. So...much worse.
