I accidentally stuck my fingertip in some of my 3yr old's shit for the first time today, so this is strangely appropriate to watch. Even after 3yrs I'm still repulsed by poop so I basically dissociated in order to not have a meltdown. I can't imagine ever intentionally picking up poop like that but her mom just died so 😩 especially if she died of an illness I can kind of understand that point of panic

The stories and the conversation were great and all but I feel like the guests should be introduced properly with a proper start to the show and they deserve some educated questions. Interviews of "Hot ones" are a great example. I think Marche can prepare some questions/topics in advance, can print/bring up pictures that need/ could use some explanations. You could go like "What is the story of this picture you posted".

For some reason, I'm always shocked to hear gender ratios for content creator viewership... I think I unconsciously am just like "well I'm a woman and I watch so, surely half the people in here are women." Also, QT is so entertaining because she's so neurotic (respectfully) and so unashamed about it haha. I can't say I've ever been that far gone but sometimes you just b out of your mind and she's right to be confident about it. If someone I love came up to me with their poop in their hands, like yeah that's crazy, but I'd be concerned more than anything else because clearly there's something wrong. Ending a relationship or a friendship over that is like ending it over them throwing up on the floor or something imo. Shit happens

this isn't the anthony padilla pod. they aren't her biographers. they just shoot the shit and the guests participate however much they feel comfortable with or however much the natural flow of the conversation facilitates. sometimes it's a lot. sometimes it's not. like that episode with tina and miyoung, miyoung hardly said anything, but that wasn't because she didn't have the opportunity to or because she wasn't asked anything. some people will talk your ear off and naturally insert themselves into or even steer the conversation, while others are a bit more reserved. turning it into a longform interview series wouldn't be nearly as fun, especially considering that most of the viewers are at least somewhat parasocial for the regular cast themselves.

That's just like, your opinion. Imo you can tell the stark difference in how they all riff off each other and attention they put in their labeled guest this time. The best comparison is their pod with daily dose. This many people and dynamic is good but just with a guest which is more assertive. It felt like a "too many cooks in the kitchen" situation
