It makes the whole "nepo baby" argument (while true in a literal sense) only worked against Hasan because he wasn't favored at all during his time there and they were extra hard on him. Everyone knew he was the nephew and Cenk was super aware of this and he didn't want to be accused of favoring him because of that. It makes it incredibly frustrating too because you see it from so-called leftists online literally calling him a nepo baby, the house, etc. and just leaving it at that without knowing AT ALL what had transpired while he was working there.

I was hoping for Will and Anthony to talk about their past experiences being part of huge Youtube channels and I'm glad they did. It also goes to show how Will was so considerate even towards the people that he considered close friends when he was exploited by them and left to fend for himself during his time at Buzzfeed that he didn't even mention it explicitly during the stream when he talked about his time there.

fr this might be my favorite episode so far and that's saying something with to the lack of QT or Austin. Anthony really is a fantastic guest. The discussions especially about Smosh's buyout by Defy, TYT Azan days, and Will's Buzzfeed days were top notch. All around a 10/10 episode.

This was a fantastic episode. Love it when Will leads deeper conversations while Hasan keeps its lighter. Anthony is a deep guy who knows how to communicate to a wide variety of people and so he was a perfect middle man for the Will/Hasan spectrum.

Probably my favorite episode so far. I grew up watching Smosh, and hearing Will wax poetic about those early wild west days of the internet made me extremely nostalgic. I wish the internet, this beautiful amorphus thing that we have, could have grown in different ways, but I'm very glad to have been part of its first steps in such an intimate way - and Anthony and Smosh have played a huge part in that.
