Woah. In Germany, everyone, not just cops, has the duty to help someone in danger, within reason and without endangering themselves, so I acknowledge it wouldn't apply in this case. It applies to first aid, for example, which everyone has to be trained on to get a driver's license or certain types of jobs. If you are an armed police officer directly witnessing a situation and being asked for help, it seems within reason that you at least try.

Loved this ep, I've never watched Levy's chess content but he was super well spoken and the Convo flowed really well. I'm cracking up at fucking marche forgetting he's got a timer going so it just goes off mid episode. I love this podcast because of how chill it is. Hasan and Will always deliver, and Levy was a very cool guest. Love that like three times Hasan said "No politics here but—" and then goes into politics for 20 mins. Top notch stuff But no Kaya so unsubbing

To the last point Gotham was saying about how 50% would just not believe u. I agree but also think that showing them might be the littoral only thing that could work. My mother is a nurse who primarily is right leaning. (Trump and all) she had to do rotations to become a nurse one of the rotations was to help homless people get off drugs and slowly get onto what they do need and getting therapy and getting better because of it. She believes in 90% that comes out of trumps mouth but at the same time because she saw a system working she believes in that system. So I feel like it might have to be that we all need to as a society put more effort into showing not telling. (Not a full solution ofc)
