Haypasia does indeed try to push her limits. As do most scholars in Sumeru. It is the Nation of Wisdom after all. Academics are the biggest priority to the citizens of the region. This reflects the real world counterparts of Indian & Islamic traditions of pursuing knowledge. Or just Asian academics in general. Very strict expectations.

BIG THING TO KNOW ABOUT THE LITTLE GREEN THINGS! They’re called Aranara and no Ken, they are not secretly evil. They’re more like the cryptids of our world. Including the whole they can only be seen by children or those that are “pure of heart”. But the Traveler is not of this world, so they’re just special in general. You’re not really gonna know about them because this is another case of being tied to World Quests that have no spoken dialogue. Like the one about the Snake Eye Lady and the red Abyss guy you liked hearing talk so nonchalant. They were tied to a World Quest, but you aren’t playing the games so you had no idea what was going on. Short version is this. They are creations of the first Dendro Archon and are the protectors of the rainforest. There are a TOOOOOON of quests involving them and battling the Withering Zones. Which brings me to another downside. The World Quests have no spoken dialogue, but they’re easily the most interesting part of the games and even have their own cutscenes that show very epic stuff. They’re also VERY lore heavy to the world of Teyvat.
