Yeah, the gag of it was that her "seduction" wasn't nearly as risque as they implied. Himmel fell for it because he was down bad for her.

Ken called Fern a nerd then mere moments later the next scene shows Fern was valid. LOL. The shock on Ken's face when he realized the poison was no joke and basically lethal. Himmel was not play acting. The joke is that most people esp in Japanese culture are very prude/reserved so therefore the "seduction technique" was considered lewd, however Sein is more lewd and has different standards so it didn't affect him compared to others. Also the fact that Himmel was affected by it is a call back to a prev ep where he was indeed attracted to Frieren. FYI, Sein is 100% in the opening/intro since EP 1, you guys probably just never noticed it and therefore missed it.

As that one flashback revealed when Frieren met that one guy who flipped her skirt up as a kid, Himmel already seemed to have a thing for Frieren during their journey. That blow of a kiss genuinely took him out. The dramatic response from him and the others are supposed to be the joke lmao
