Gameplay Tip: Don't forget to mine planets to get resources. All of your weapon and armor upgrades require resources. You're going to have to do that a lot; you'll thank me later. You can basically do all the mining off screen because it's really boring.

I just wanted to mention the point of no return in this game, since it's hard to estimate how far ahead you are from the posts. Keep an eye out of the mission "Reaper IFF". Finishing that mission starts a short countdown to the final events of the game. I highly recommend doing all the side quests you want to do, particularly the squad side quests, and the research for specific squad mates and your ship as they are very important, before you do the mission Reaper IFF. As you saw in the beginning, cover is going to be your best friend in this game lol. Also, a lot of the emails at the beginning were DLC that now come with the Legendary Edition, Kasumi and Zaeed being DLC squad mates.

I never realised during the hacking that you had to match the symbols on the nodes, I would just run the wires on the motherboard and connect them that way 😂

The missions given to you in the new messages besides the anderson one are part of DLC that are auto installed with Legendary edition(the crew additions and stuff) thats why you noticed having way more crew options

Ah hoped you would go with vanguard with the biotic charge ability. But Infiltrator is pretty good too, especially with snipers and the tactical cloak ability!

The ME2 codex contains more info but also some of the same so its good you waited to check it tell now. You can disable the helmet in the settings i prefer it off personally Keep in mind with the special attacks you have to target the enemy with them as shepard to command where they hit and if you use they can have anywhere from a 15 - 60 second cool down it will tell you on the wheel They had all the squad manuever stuff in me1 to but it was optional then, some of the missions its only survivable with squad assistance

The reason the Paragon answers seem more aggressive when talking to TIM is because Paragon sheperd would be more reserved about working with Cerberus than Renegade. The VA for EDI is the same as for Kerrigan.

Mass effect 2 and 3 have a lot more to offer in terms of exploration and side quests but its still limited. In this game they also added a new thing to keep in mind but it doesnt make a apperence tell later, ship upgrades you have to grind for the resources through mineral scanning and its important to remember.

ME2 is in my top 5 games of all time, and I've spent more time than I should admit replaying the campaign so I can see all the outcomes lol. It will be fun seeing the path you two take in this game.

Welcome to Mass Effect 2 where you get folded easily if you get out of cover (unless easy mode) i think you guys got the message with that rocket to the face that folded you in the first real mission xD To be good in this game I got a few tips for you: use EVERYTHING you got. every power, every weapon, every squadmate's powers, and. stick. to. cover!!!!! if you keep wandering about during a fight like you did in the first mass effect, you guys are going to be folded like a napkin every mission. Also (not spoiling anything) but the stakes are higher than they have ever been; pay attention, if you mess up in this game, some of these characters are going to eat it like Kaiden did. and it will all be your fault why they did.
