I feel like Butt Rock has become a real genre of rock/metal now lmao like it now comes down to opinion on what band is or isn't in it lol. Like I wouldn't put Breaking Benjamin in the category personally but the list they pulled up did. I get why they are on there but they have too much screaming for the category imo.. but I do get why people would put them on there.

Its just that type of "radio friendly rock" that's always played on the mainstream rock stations. For clarification I mean like the Crush 40 songs not like the 8-bit level songs and stuff. Those Crush 40 songs obviously aren't on the radio but I think they could be if the band was mainstream enough if that makes sense. Also the Game Grumps guys always call it Butt Rock lol so maybe its not technically accurate since the songs aren't "mainstream" but I think if Crush 40 were as big as like Creed or Pearl Jam then they would def be on the list IMO.

South Park Popularized the concept of "butt-rock". Bo-Jack Horseman gives an excellent example in it's "Generic 90s Grunge song" made in the style of Nirvana, Creed, Pearl Jam, etc. You'll often hear them in niche sci-fi animated films, films featuring burnouts that hang around malls & liqueur stores, or being covered by a small town local band, with that member you vaguely remember from high school, at a farmers markets or in cringey bars

'BUT ROCK' in a radio man voice with insane silly sounds like explosions and shit... Over time it came to be known as.. Butt Rock. The Sonic the Hedgehog songs are also famous Butt Rock songs

I totally get that he doesn’t want to be “part of the pod”, but he does have important things to say every now and then and it’s usually impossible to hear what he’s saying so we end up having a one sided conversation. the flea medication issue is what happened with my dog. he got bravecto which he's never had before, and the end of the night into the next day, he was CHEWING the base of his tail so bad that it was missing fur and had a bump/scab on it. the vet said it was probably from hyperactivity due to fleas dying due to the meds, which tbh makes sense. we gave him a bath and kept an eye, and about 12 or so hours later he was fine, but still missing fur which has to grow back obv
