I agree that only attacking your cheating partner's affair partner is a shitty thing to do because the biggest culprit is your spouse who owed you their loyalty but I kind of hate that people now use this as an excuse to let the other person get away with it. If that person knew someone was in a relationship before getting with them, It's perfectly reasonable to be angry at them too. I got cheated on in an 8 year relationship and left my ex, but people constantly telling me that the other woman wasn't in the wrong and that I shouldn't be mad at her because "women should be supporting other women" was super hurtful and regressive.
