I was ITCHING for Brennan to close the loop on the thread that came up in the first half and he did not dissaoppoint lol I have seen him do too many interviews and run too many campaigns to not circle back. Also it is fun to see two different types of mega yappers converse aka Hasan and Brennan, they could do an endless podcast together. Great episode and so cool to see these worlds collide! Also Austin made me burst out laughing and was happy to see Will connect with Brennan a bit on a fan level and appreciation of DND and fantasy. 10/10 I hope for collabs in the future, perhaps a charity one shot?

Hasan okay I hear you, no magic, but ranger and just use swords, not as tanky, but high dex and wisdom, survival, nature, and most importantly summon a beast and speak and befriend animals, you could literally vibe out bears. Your magic doesn’t need to be ranged attack spells, it can just be animals, tactical shit and combat buffs.

A fun concept for DnD might be to have characters who start off as the best of the best in one particular area but whose self-imposed motivation is to master something else entirely that they suck at. I'm imagining the most powerful wizard the world has ever seen, but he doesn't care about magic and his dream is to be a scientist that disproves magic. I played a character once that was an "oath of the crown" paladin, but I flavored it as being an oath to the common folk. So with every smite, I would yell, "FOR THE PEOPLE!" the solution to Hasan's DnD conundrum of being more of a "bard" irl but wanting to be a sword guy, is literally just being a paladin. Finally joined the Patreon for this guest and it absolutely did not disappoint. I loved how so many of the facets of BLeeM's persona were touched on. You had some solid social and political commentary, improv, and D&D along with just good old fashioned life experiences. When it comes to TTRPG's, I think the boys would have a lot more fun with a game from the World of Darkness than D&D, since those games are Urban fantasy. Especially Vampire: The Masquerade or Werewolf: The Apocalypse lend themselves to explore real life problems. Could also see the boys as a great Hunter cell.
