the varients and stuff is annoying, but like red hot chili peppers had more vinyl variants than taylor did. Taylor is improving it's actually limited drops so it feels more special to own, unlike what she was doing with midnights or tortured poets. I think Folklore did it best where they all dropped at once and you could decide what you wanted. I think the there's multiple version all with a bonus track is the worst version of this because it builds up the I need them all. That being said the diaries with the lover deluxe cds is one of my favorite album things ever, a great addition and makes it so you actually have something of somewhat value. also this post was long but the former practice of all merch or ticket sales coming with a free digital album to boost sales was way more annoying and actually inflating numbers.
