People keep saying CBZ is better than PDF so I tried it. However, the program that it opens in on my pc is a disaster. Can you suggest a decent Windows program (preferably free or inexpensive) that I can download and try. Thanks.

@dampflok CBZ is just a ZIP file with renamed format. That means you can open it in any comicbook viewer (for exaple YAC viewer or Comic Zeal on the iPad), you can easily unzip it and use your favourite image browser. PDF is just a bit more restrictive, but should be readable by apps as well.

What, exactly, is the advantage of CBZ over PDF? What is the best app/prog for reading CBZ?

I have some real trouble editing these old posts :/ I re-uploaded Chapter 1 with both CBZ and PFD, changed the link here, but lost the thumbnail of the post... I'm gonna leave it for now to avoid breaking it further.
