Hey guys, much like Chapter 58 back in November, Chapter 68 of Lightning Strikes Twice just got hidden for supposedly violating Patreon's guidelines.
Fully believe it's just a false positive and have already resubmitted it for review. Hopefully it's back up within the day like last time but in the meantime posting the vote options so people can still vote. If Chapter 68 is down for multiple days, I will combine the votes from that post and this post ahead of Chapter 69.
If Chapter 68 is not reapproved, well thats a whole other can of worms we'll have to deal with.

No one is reporting anything, I'm pretty sure. Patreon has started using an AI to moderate their website in the past year. It scans every single new thing I post to check for violations of their Community Guidelines and unfortunately it gets it wrong sometimes. Very frustrating, but like I said in the above post, all the more reason to make sure you're in my Discord.

Van you ask who tf is reporting these chapters? Lik4 some butthirt Karen who didn't like the way the chapter went decides to abuse the report button instead of just writing it out on here like a normal person?

Yeah did try that originally but it did nothing, haven’t worried too much about it though since there haven’t really been any issues with the Patreon before this that I can remember so if it decides to work yay, if not oh well.

He should let Dumbledore chase ghosts until he becomes one. If he saves him, he'll stand in his way no matter how much Harry is trying to help. Since their people live like they did when Dumbledore was a kid, you can see how the older generation lead by Dumbledore does everything they can to prevent advancement. Harry got Amelia and Appolline to handle political things at home and abroad, letting Dumbledore stay means he'll have more power than them and constantly block anything useful they could put forward. Whether it's for Dumbledore's ideas that he knows best or that he's the one that should make the important decisions, he's never been the type that likes to share power or knowledge. He always likes to play games with people's lives as if he's the second coming of Merlin. That's literally his whole thing. He dresses himself up to appear what people would think Merlin would look like. Then pulls the old grandfatherly wise man role. He won't aid them. He'd only hinder them. Even if he's not a dark lord, he's still a bitter old man with a life full of regrets that hates change. That's not someone you'd want standing in your way to making changes needed in order to save your people, especially with his political clout and his inability to stay out of things. His desire to be the wisest of them all by denying everyone else knowledge so he can make himself look good was always one of his major failings. He'd be worse than Tom and the Death Eaters when it comes to any plans Harry makes.

No, it definitely is set up so that both old versions of the Basic Tier have access to the Discord. Not sure why it's not working for you specifically unfortunately. Have you tried disconnecting Discord from Patreon and then reconnecting it yet?

Never mind I figured out what the issue is, I have the legacy Basic membership and that doesn’t have discord access as one of its benefits

So is the tidbit that the prophecies in the Department of Mystery only glow while they are active and lose that shine when they are completed fanon or is that something that got confirmed somewhere? Because that sounds like an easy way to officially check without revealing everything.

I think Harry should heal Dumbles and spill the beans about Voldemort being dead, along with his Death Eaters and horcruxes. Make a magical vow - carefully worded to ensure Dumbles gets the point - if he has to and make it Very Fucking Clear that the threat of Voldemort is zero and that Harry has no more need to be a sacrificial lamb anymore, because the prophecy has been completed. Dumbledore needs understand it's time to either focus his remaining years on running Hogwarts or retirement.
