Quite the emotional roller-coaster of a chapter! Somber and heart-rending start, via Sophia's mini-breakdown over "failing" to sway Aureo and the River God's burial, to a karmic payback middle with Aureo's accidental "gift" to the people of Goldriver being harnessed by a probable surviving nobleman to hide the crimes he and others dud to Aureo, to a lovely cliffhanger ending that sees our heroes facing down....Law reborn? Sophia's previously unknown grandfather? Oceanus? Definitely some deity of significant power, based on Oren's mental comparisons to Law...but we dealing with a villain or a vengeful family member?

Sad to see that Sophia was right and that Aureo had faithful in the city still, but that twist of the dagger (lol) makes it all the better imo. Hype for tomorrow!

Haha, if I made Oren and Sophia face Raythe's boss this early they'd probably die. Would be a bad way to cut short the entire story xD

Did you time the reveal to be ten chapters after the Chekhov’s Gunman loaded their gun on purpose? I read the now public chapter and I can’t help but wonder on that.
