I see the problem there, but I also feel like Cam is setting the bait a little too neatly. Tyranos, mentioning the gods of the negative, like... Tyranny, smacks a little too much of look this way while I lay a more subtle trap the other way. Bet it's already been hinted at too. Now to go back and reread.

Ohhhh....my past comment about the Big Bad beig a Darth Sidious expy is starting to feel extra prescient right now...a deity with a very telling name that neither Oren not Sophia knew about, spinning a tale that Makes Sense and gives them a clear target to aim for, and who seems ambivalent toward polar morality? Feeling awfully like Palpatine regaling Anakin with the Tragedy of Darth Plageius the Wise in "Revenge of the Sith"...except Oren is being set up to be a one-man GAR tasked with Order 66-ing any and all competition to Tyranos for becoming the new King of the God's.

Ah, not Law himself, but close enough. Also, his domain covering roads and travelling must mean he could teleport anywhere he wants except the Void. Another great chapter!

Aureo deserved to die. He had the perfect opportunity to become a pirate! He was already missing an eye, a foot and has grown a disdain for governments. He just needed to make an eyepatch and the peg for his leg. He should have ditched the lake domain and just sailed off into the sunset as the new god of pirates.
