I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this chapter. I mean...it's very well done on a technical level...and Adam is very forthright with Raven about his position, along with doing nothing that she couldn't escape from via magic, so it's not like he tricked her into joining his mini-harem...but I guess my biggest "Really?!" comes from feeling like Adam isn't Adam anymore at this point. Yes, he accepted Starfire giving up her life as a Titan and a heroine in general, but that was her initiating everything in becoming his sex pet and him being just as befuddled by it at first as her fellow Titans were. And Blackfire becoming his next one DID utilize the same basic method as how he just snagged Raven, but I suppose there's an element of "neutralizing a threat" by getting Blackfire addicted to his dick (and what it provides)...along with both helping to rebuild the Tamanerean sisters' relationship and providing Blackfire with karmic justice for making Starfire her slave in the past...so the Titans have one less member of their rogues' gallery. A net positive outcome overall. But Raven getting the same treatment as Blackfire just doesn't quite sit right, even if I can see her secretly wanting the life that Starfire has now...maybe if there had been some internal monologue moments or dialogue from the half-demon fleshing out why she submitted? That and the remaining Titans are gonna come at Adam twice as hard as they did when Starfire quit to be Adam's kept woman...and this time, he can't successfully play dumb at why a known heroine has suddenly chosen to become a concubine. So yeah...I get that I might be the lone dissenting opinion, but this chapter didn't resonate with me like the others did. Whether it's the "telling over showing" decision re: Adam & Starfire's discussion about Adam's feelings about Raven and how to bring her into the fold, or getting basically zero exploration of why Raven submitted...I just feel like there's something missing from this chapter to better help Adam remain consistent in his character portrayal/arc.
