Wait, Ned won't stay in King' Landing while Sansa AND Catelyn will come down? I don’t think Dorne is a great choice, he’s a Baratheon and even his status as a previous bastard likely won’t soften them after the dragonspawn thing Robert pulled. Also the Starks are loyal and that should be rewarded, the north doesn’t deserve to have yet another king that just calls them when there’s trouble and dismisses them otherwise, especially when nearly half of the seven kingdoms just rebelled and the north remained loyal

I assume the next POV will be Doran Martell's. I imagine he having a conversation with Oberyn and Arianne in which Oberyn demands leave to travel to The Capital to try his luck at getting the heads of The Mountain and The Manticore, and Arianne demands leave to try her luck at becoming queen. Doran demands they remain in Sunspear, they go anyway at first tide.

Sansa is still the best choice loyalty should be rewarded never treachery politically her father is Lord of the North, her uncle the Riverlands, her aunt Lady Paramount of the Vale, granducle Knight of the Bloody gate, and Jon Arryn is like a father to Eddard Stark/her good uncle Margaery is not trustable especially with Olenna around its either house Baratheon or Tyrell no middle ground let me list of all the Targaryen queens not related to them that brought trouble to Westeros by "overly benefiting" their maiden houses Alicent Hightower (Idc about the Blacks or Greens both were still legitimate heirs) Myriah Martell no kingdom needs three fucking royal marriages Daeron dickriding Dorne rightfully pissed of a lot of people, and Cersei needs no mention this within just the last 180+ years once Faegon shows up Doran will start being a snake openly for his revenge even if its means fucking over Axel Dornish spears don't mean anything when they lost so many at the Trident while having the smallest army tied with the Ironborn the logic to marry Arianne makes no sense when even Margaery who I don't want is a better option Sansa's still superior since Axel isn't Joffrey his going to have that canon loyalty to her betrothed/husband.
