If youh ate the French, then yes, that is racist. I think you may have listened to the wrong podcasts. It's possibly xenophobia. But racism doesn't mean it's based on a race. Like if I said I want all Indians to die. Which I don't because they're great and have lovely cuisine. but it would sound very racist. You don't get to pick and choose if it's racism because they're white.
