So question, he’s in his twenties right? Mark in the show and the comics got his powers at 17. And he’s from arguably better stock than mark, considering the men of Westeros are built like Neanderthals on steroids with feats of strength that no human alive could pull off. So how is he just now only getting his powers in his twenties?

Hmmm...if Cersei is going to be the focus of the next chapter, I wonder how much fury she'll be flinging Jaime's way for failing to mention all the fucking magical napalm or Greek Fire that had been squirreled away by the Mad King under King's Landing, Oh, she'll be mainly focusing her grief and rage over losing her sons on Robert...but I don't think her dear brother will be getting much nookie from her for a long time after this fiasco! 😉 Only other question is will she choose assassination or seduction as her first move against Axel...my money's on the latter, especially if she frames it as helping to avoid Axel having to marry his half-sister (who of course doesn't have a drop of Baratheon blood in her veins).

Me? I'm just looking forward to all the assassination attempts and Axel just not knowing about them ( I mean it's not like any earthly poison is going to work on him and it's not like anyone on planetos has the resources to make a viltrumite killing virus like the coalition of planets did) or thinks it's a test of his prowess. Nope, I think he will only realise something is wrong if somebody actually rebels.

He's actually something of an early bloomer compared to Mark, but unlike Mark he didn't have anyone around to tell him that he COULD fly, so he's never found out it's within his capabilities. He'll eventually learn later on in the story though, not to worry

Considering Cercei was actually in love with Robert, atleast right until she actually met him. She might be slightly more open minded when it comes to Axel, especially since he apparently looks so much like Robert at his prime, if not better.

Tywin will probably push for him to marry his "half-sister" Myrcella, to legitimize his claim or something like that. Dorne would not care that he is a bastard, but the Martells would care that he is Robert's. Most of the reach, specially in Old Town, would care a lot about his bastard status, expect very loud complains from the faith.

The Tyrells won’t jump to Renly if they could just have Axel for Margaery to be queen, so temporary loyalty? Cersei will be mad with grief I’d think but also could use Axel by seducing him to keep her place in the royal family and keep power? Starks will just be loyal unless slighted, Tullys come with the Starks. Vale is loyal as long as Jon is Alive, but also Axel might already have the individual houses respect from dealing with the mountain clans. Stannis might feel slighted that a bastard was picked by Robert (Just like Robert gave Renly the Stormlands) but also may just do his duty. So Dorne, Tywins Westerlands and any house that really cares about the status of His birth and origin are most likely unloyal, although Tywin may just push for Axel to marry another Lannister, may even use the debt excuse.
