And sometimes they talk apparently, because he's received an invitation to a visiting K-Pop Star's penthouse suite while she's staying in New York City. Yeah...pretty sure The Architect dropped the revelation in the second film that early iterations of The Matrix were utopia simulations but humanity just couldn't accept or cope with such existence and rebelled. So...how it would work now is a mystery, barring the newest version being a slow burn path to absolute perfection that incrementally weeds out troublemakers.

I fully recognize I'm being a pedantic nerd and missing the point here... but wasn't 5 the very first thing the Machines tried when they started this whole Matrix doohickey, and it didn't work? I thought that was why the Architect was so pissy about the Oracle figuring out what he couldn't.
