I'm betting wanting to get her hands on that ass is only PART of why she wants to join Covenant. Being a member of New Wave probably was pretty depressing, considering it was on life support- at best. Plus, Crystal herself admitted to having cravings to use her powers. I believe there was a joke in several fics where either Contessa or Alexandria themselves created those memes. I have read a similar mention in a Batman fic where Batman created such memes about how the ass photos prove that Bruce Wayne has to be Batman.
