Jez's triumphant moment at the funeral service was great. As has been said, season 2 is when PEAK Peep Show begins, at some point it just clicks and you become impossibly invested in the whole thing. Praise Enya 🙏

I’ve mentioned it once before, Peep Show is one of my favourite shows but i always felt series one was by far the weakest of the 9 series, not bad but it’s like a test run. But these reactions have made it very enjoyable indeed. Judging by your reaction to this first series, you are absolutely going to love this show, as it only gets better and better (well with maybe a slight dip before the excellent final series).

Mike & Jess might actually need therapy after this, especially after all 9 seasons 🤣 It sure isn't for everyone. It makes me cringe so badly at times too, i think it gets too weird as well at times, that's just my opinion though, when Peep show was very first aired me and my partner started to watch it, we managed to watch the first few episodes before she just give up completely and stopped watching it.

Love Peep Show but also looking forward to The Moaning of Life (which I haven’t seen). I like the idea of switching shows after a season has ended. It keeps things fresh. “Variety is the spice of life,” as they say. Yes, I get that fans are disappointed that Mike and Jess aren’t watching their favourite show to the end of its run, but in the case of Peep Show, if they watched that continuously every week, it would take them just over a year (54 episodes) to get through it. That would likely cause them Peep Show burn out. The same would happen if they watched OFAH continuously (64 episodes). If they did those two shows with a couple of other shows that have long runs, we’d only be watching four shows a year instead of the variety of different shows we’re getting now. For what little we pay per month, getting the chance to watch the variety of different content Mike and Jess put out EVERY SINGLE DAY, is great value for money, so complaining about not seeing one particular show for 6 weeks is a bit petty IMO. Let’s face it: the shows they watch are through our recommendations - and they’re shows we’ve seen countless times before - but what makes it special watching them one more time is we get to experience it with Mike and Jess and enjoy their reactions, happy that we’ve converted them to the shows we also love.

Having not seen Season 1 as much as the rest, I’d say Episode 2 and this one are the standouts. The Ep 2 reaction was hilarious — you could really see Jess and Mike starting to realise what they were getting into. With this episode, it felt closer to the true Mark/Jez dynamic, with better writing / story line.

I personally like the show rotating format. It keeps things fresh with 12 shows on the go rather than 6. Some people in the comments are like grown children wanting their favourite thing all at once. The monthly membership is the cost of a cup of coffee, strap in for the long haul.

This whole strategy of swapping shows doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Peep Show is the most popular show, as evidenced by it winning the main poll, and it's being postponed for six weeks for a show that didn't even register on the poll because basically no one wants to see it. You're already watching 7 shows a week, isn't that enough without tag-teaming them with others? I don't understand the thought process.
