About 30 years ago, I was attending a work event at a local hotel. I recognised one of the other attendees in the hotel foyer as a client of the company I worked for; so I waved at him across the room and said "hello". The gentleman in question smiled and nodded back and only then did I realise that he wasn't a client at all, he was... Mr Roy Hattersley! Of course, he didn't have a clue who I was, but was very polite anyway!😄

Important heads up for next week (with regards to the celebs being legends)! Next week’s guest is Mohamed al Fayed. Only since his death in 2023 have his sexual abuse allegations really been discussed (it’s big news in the U.K. this year regarding Harrods and its compensation to victims) despite knowledge of them going back to the mid-90s. I think the celebs that come on sit in a strange space of being ‘willing to go along with it’… but also ripe for ridicule and humiliation.
