While Bobby spilling the beans and being confronted by the girls about his seemingly dangerous actions is a valid scene to skip out on...I really do hope we see a scene in the future of the so-called 'rents (i.e. Bobby & Celine) having a "conversation" over Bobby's actions and Celine's influence over the girls' lives while the HUNTR/X-Jinu meeting at the park occurs. I wanna see if Bobby can suss out any of the details Celine has chosen not to share with Rumi, Mira & Zoey...like Jinu not being the first demon to present themselves as penitent or wanting to live a normal life undercover. As for the final moment of the chapter? Pure brilliance 😀

My headcanon and therefore what we'll eventually see in this fic is that because Celine wound up training the girls alone and the Honmoon was weakening by the time she was able to bring them together, a lot of the training aside from 'kill demons and sing Honmoon stronger' fell to the wayside. In a perfect world, the old trio would all play a part in training the new trio, but obviously that didn't happen here. It was just Celine and while she did the best she could, her best wasn't good enough.

Glad you directly broached the very odd detail from the film that the girls don’t seem to have any real knowledge of what demons are despite being part of a multi-generational order tasked with fighting them, was one of the most salient worldbuilding gaps. Blade/Rumi parallels are very funny

They interrogate Jinu next chapter, but having them and Bobby chat would have just been rehashing Jinu's revelations 3 times instead of 2
