So, five centuries of fighting the PoD while sleeping is at least going to give him massive reservoirs of power. Right? He'll probably need another hundred years of training to get his control back to normal. Or maybe he'll have gained an advanced regeneration? And I loved the long chapter.

Grayfia will 100% be the main love interest for the MC. That said, I wouldn't be genderbending if I didn't intend for the MC to potentially get together with the genderbent characters down the road. At this point, the most likely is Fem!Sirzechs/Lucrezah, who will almost certainly join up with the MC and Grayfia in some sort of debauched submissive hate-fuck relationship to make up for her maiming of the MC. But that's a fair ways down the road for sure.

On one hand, I love a DxD story where Grayfia is not together with Sirzechs and instead together(hopefully) with the MC of the story. But on the other hand, I have never and never will like genderbending in a DxD story! It is just so unnecessary, as there are many great ladies already in the story! I guess I'll see where this goes, as I can still hope for our MC to NOT get together with any of the possible genderbent characters, and Grayfia looks to possibly/hopefully be the main love interest for the MC? Still great work on your writing this first chapter. Thanks for your work.

Very fun start! DxD has a lot of promise, but most fics tend to stick to the stations of canon and a very small pool of characters. This is already set up to go in a very different direction.

Really interesting premise. Not in favour of genderbending in DxD though, because there are waay too many females in DxD compared to males, and this is a multicross anyway so there may end up being... too much pussy, if that is a thing.

I hope we get to see the MC lean into the thieving side of his power set as well, instead of him turning into a straight tank with his defensive powers. That could result in some cool shit, especially if it is more conceptual thieving rather than just enhanced stealth.
