Really hope Thomas argues for bringing the apothecary along to ensure BOTH of them learn what the potion ingredients look like when at their "freshest".

He shouldn’t have asked for training at all, he would have been better off just setting up in view of her and practicing as best he could. Quick tip on how to get information; don’t ask for it, instead be visibly incorrect. People are significantly more likely to correct a mistake then teach from base concepts.

See here's the thing while Millie has a gift for the sword I doubt that nightly orders are so specialized that they train in your gift and nothing else. Being any sort of knight probably means a base level of training in many areas and then her gift allows her to get more out of it and likely where she'll lean into. So she won't be as good as an actual teacher, who would have the gift of education, but she likely has the experience to impart that same base level... Or she could indeed be shit and just a good fighter 🤷

I hate tsundere, Asians have never created anything more horrible than that! And I saw people eating live octopus...

Something I've been thinking, doing something and teaching about the thing require quite separate skill sets. Plus the presence of Gifts that grow stronger with use seems to leads to the thought when applicable, someone should specialize in skills that practice their Gift. This is further emphasized if Camilla or other weapon gift users lose their superhuman prowess when wielding a weapon not covered by their gift. So there is very well an amusing scenario where Camilla not only isn't a good teacher, but by not going the sword route Thomas has made things even harder on himself as she isn't familiar with how to handle other weapons beyond how to fight against them.
Cambrian
the former yeah
Izuku Kageyama
Why does Camilla think he no longer has amnesia? Does she just think that since he's stopped mentioning it that he's dropped the 'ploy', or did he display knowledge from the journal and she assumed?

Thomas can just take the apothecary no? Thomas and Camilla both know little of the surrounding terrain as far as I'm aware, so having him present while Thomas and Camilla go there on their first run makes sense. And it was stated that the apothecary couldn't do so because it wasn't safe, not that he was physically incapable of making the journey. Something Camilla should be able to take care of.

Im betting theres a goth swamp witch or something chilling in the darkwoods.
Cambrian
Yes!
The Real
Finally Thomas is gonna get a chance to start chipping away at all the distrust Camilla has.
Cambrian
She's definitely got a bad impression of Thomas, we'll start turning her view around soon enough. Will have to see if I can convince you guys she's worthwhile as the story progresses lol
Cambrian
TBF, from her POV, he's not only an ingrate and an example of corrupt nobility, he's personally responsible for her being stuck at the ass-end of nowhere on a terrible assignment that lets her exercise none of her skills heh
Cambrian
hah!
Jacob Steele
This chick is annoying af at this point, I agree aside from the attack she is completely useless to this town and calls him a parasite? Lmfao

I mean I get it she has all these experiences with the guy before our protagonist came but seriously now she is just being ornery and abrasive. I mean at least give the guy a chance and if he was she'll catch him then.
Markus Antonius
I mean now I’m looking forward to when out of anger or fear he blurts out his fear of her being their to kill him
